One side is the spindle storage and display stand. The hole depth will accommodate my bottom whorl spindles while protecting the point. The other side is a shallow bowl for spinning supported. There is a dimple to keep the spindle centered as it spins. The dimple is burnished for greater durability before the stump is varnished.

Details: Fully handmade by Cynthia D. Haney. Measurements are accurate within 1/4″.

Wood is a natural product, which can change color over time. Some woods have more obvious color change than others.
Cherry can look very pale when freshly cut. Over time, it will darken to the reddish brown usually associated with the wood. It is one of the few woods that most people are familiar with the aged look.
Pictures are taken on a white background. If it does not look white on your screen the wood color may not be accurate. Please e-mail ch@cynthiahaney.com for clarification.
