Use: Wind yarn into a skein and estimate length. This Niddy-Noddy forms a 2 yard diameter skein or hank of yarn when using all four arms in the traditional manner. If you just use one arm from each end of the tool, it makes a 1 yard skein.
Body Wood: Tulip Poplar, color will change to brown with age
Arms Wood: Black Walnut
Total Length: 18″
Height: 8 1/2″
Details: Yarn can stretch when wound on a Niddy-Noddy. For an accurate length measure the yarn after removing it from the tool. Designed and made by Cynthia D. Haney in her Virginia, USA workshop. Measurements are accurate within 1/4″. NOTE due to its size shipping may be delayed by two days from my usual schedule.
